Kelly Green is an associate Tampa personal injury attorney at Vanguard
Attorneys. A committed advocate, she is passionate about helping those
who have been injured get the compensation they both need and deserve.
Ms. Green received her law degree from Stetson University College of Law.
While in school, she made every effort to excel in her studies so that
she could one day be able to provide guidance and protection to people
during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Ms. Green was heavily
involved in pro bono work while in school, and served as the Pro Bono
Committee Chair at Stetson. She was one of only three law students recognized
by the Sixth Judicial Circuit for Outstanding Pro Bono Service in the
community. After completing double the required pro bono service hours
to graduate, Ms. Green was ultimately honored with the William F. Blews
Pro Bono Service Award. This experience truly helped her see the positive
impact she could make as a lawyer.
As a student, Ms. Green maintained active membership in a number of associations,
including the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the Student Bar Association,
and the Maritime Law Society, where she served as Secretary. She was also
personally appointed as a Stetson Ambassador and received special recognition
for her performance in a first-year oral advocacy competition. She also
had the distinct honor of being chosen by her professors to serve on two
internal committees with the dean.
Ms. Green graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Florida Gulf Coast University. As an undergraduate student, Ms. Green
had the opportunity to work as a Victims Advocate in Fort Myers with the 20th Judicial Circuit Court. This experience afforded her valuable insight
into how access to the court system can make a difference in someone’s
life. This experience resonated with her and ultimately solidified her
decision to pursue a legal career.
Ms. Green is licensed to practice in Florida State Courts and the Middle
District of Florida.
